About the event
“Woe is Him, Woe is Me” is a short, one woman play that explores the patient/therapist
relationship. The sole character, Janelle, attends therapy sessions as she loses herself in
an inability to let go of her ex-fiance when he leaves her. This play leans into the chaos of
not knowing what is next, and delivers a thoughtful exploration into what it feels like to
struggle when life changes course.
